Editorial Policy

How entries get in, how they're verified, and how they can be corrected.

Selection

Use cases and bots are selected from public sources — grokbot.dev, X posts, and community shares — using three criteria: clarity (a newcomer could run it), replicability (it doesn’t depend on one person’s private setup), and value (it produces something people actually want). Popularity alone doesn’t qualify an entry.

Verification

• Every prompt is checked to be complete and self-contained.
• Setup claims (time, difficulty, access needed) are noted as reported by the source, and flagged when they look optimistic.
• Bots are listed with their description and the sharer’s identity; we link the original post so you can judge the source yourself.
• Entries carry a verified date. The ecosystem moves; entries age.

Attribution

Community prompts and shared bots belong to their authors. Every directory entry carries source links (the original post and, where applicable, the grokbot.dev entry). If you are an author and want your work removed or re-credited, open an issue or reach out — removal requests are honored quickly.

Corrections

Found an error, a broken prompt, or a security concern in a listed entry? That’s a priority fix. Security issues in listed bots are treated as urgent for everyone’s sake.

Independence

No listing position is sold. If that ever changes, it will be labeled on the page where it happens.
