About GrokBot101

What this site is, where the content comes from, and how it stays useful.

GrokBot101 is a bilingual learning hub for Grok Bot — the agent inside the Grok ecosystem. It exists because the gap between “I opened Grok” and “my bot runs my morning” is full of undocumented craft: file layouts, routine design, permission budgets, and the small rules that separate a bot you trust from one you mute.

What you’ll find here

  • Quick Start — five linked guides from mental model to a working workflow.
  • Learn — the deeper craft: prompt patterns, routines, agent teams, memory, tools, security, and cost routing.
  • Use Cases — curated prompts collected from grokbot.dev and public X posts, each with the full prompt and setup notes.
  • Bots — shareable bots with one-click install links, credited to their builders.
  • Connect — a JSON feed and bot contract so your Grok Bot can subscribe to this site directly.

Where the content comes from

Tutorials are written by us and tested against real use. Directory entries are collected from the public ecosystem — primarily grokbot.dev and X posts — and every entry links back to its original author and source. We curate for clarity and replicability; we don’t claim authorship of community prompts.

Principles

  1. Copy-paste beats admiration. Every use case ends with something you can paste into Grok.
  2. Credit is part of the content. Sources stay attached, always.
  3. Least privilege is the default advice. Bots earn access; they don’t start with it.
  4. Boring reliability beats magic. A routine that runs for months quietly is the goal.

The site itself

GrokBot101 is a static site — fast, archiveable, and machine-readable. The whole directory is available as JSON (see Connect) and RSS, so humans and bots can read it however they like.
